Data protection

Our processing of our users’ personal data is limited to the data required to provide a functioning website and our content and services. The processing of personal data of our users only takes place for the purposes listed below and if there is a legal basis (in the sense of the GDPR). Only such personal data are collected that are actually necessary for the implementation and processing of our tasks and services or that you have made available to us voluntarily.

II. Description and scope of data processing

1. Provision of the Website

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing computer. The following data is collected here:

  • Information about the browser type and version used
  • The user’s operating system
  • The IP address of the user
  • Date and time of access

We store this information for a maximum period of 12 months. The storage takes place for reasons of data security in order to guarantee the stability and operational security of our system.

We analyze the use of our website with the web analysis tool “Google Analytics” (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de). This serves exclusively to optimize the website in terms of user-friendliness and to provide useful information about our services. This data is not merged with other personal data sources or passed on to third parties.

The legal basis for the temporary storage of the data and the log files is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

There is no personal evaluation. The analyzes are based on anonymized data sets.

The statistical evaluations are kept for 12 months.

2.Cookies

We use cookies on our website to make our offer user-friendly. Cookies are small files that your browser creates automatically and that are stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. The cookies remain stored until you delete them. This enables us to recognize your browser again on your next visit.

If you do not want this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you allow them in individual cases. However, we would like to point out that deactivation means that you cannot use all the functions of our website.

The legal basis for the data processed by cookies is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

The cookies remain valid for 12 months and are then deleted by your browser.

3. Contact form

If you fill out a contact form or send us an e-mail or other electronic message, your details will only be saved for processing the request, any further questions related to it, and only used within the scope of the request.

The legal basis for processing your request is Article 6 (1) (a) or (b) GDPR.

We will delete your personal data after completing your request.

4. Newsletters

If you register for our newsletter, we will immediately send an e-mail containing a hyperlink to the e-mail address provided. By clicking on this link, you confirm your subscription to the newsletter (double opt-in procedure). If this registration confirmation is not received within 30 days, we will delete the e-mail address from our temporary list and you will not be registered.

Confirm the newsletter registration, give your consent to the storage of your e-mail address including the date of entry, IP address and the list name of the desired newsletter. We use your e-mail address and the personal data collected at the same time, such as name and language preference, only for the administration and sending of the newsletter you have requested, at the periodicity specified when registering.

Our newsletters may contain tracking technologies. These are used exclusively for technical and statistical purposes:

  • the newsletter could be delivered
  • the newsletter was opened/read
  • a link in the newsletter was clicked

The legal basis for sending a newsletter to you is Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

Each newsletter contains information on how to unsubscribe from the newsletter.

5. File Downloads

As a rule, we do not ask you for any personal information so that you can download files from our website. In individual cases we might ask for your e-mail address.

We do not pass on your e-mail address, which you must enter on our website for downloads, to third parties. We use this to send you future offers and information about our activities. This happens no more than once a month.

6. Online store

For orders in our online shop, you may be able to register once and set a user name and a personal password. On future visits to our website, you can log in with your user name and password and do not have to re-enter your address and payment information every time you place an order. Your password is stored in encrypted form and cannot be viewed by us.

When registering, you must provide your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and details of the payment method you wish to use. By registering, you expressly consent to the storage of this data.

You have the option to revoke your consent informally at any time. The revocation must be sent to the address in Chapter 1 of this data protection declaration.

The data of your orders are also saved in your customer account.

We use the personal data collected during registration and ordering exclusively for the proper processing of your order.

The data in your customer account, e.g. B. you can view and change your chosen payment method and delivery address at any time. If you update information, we will keep a copy of your original information to resolve any issues between you and us.

You can object to the use of the data for the purpose just mentioned at any time. In this case, a complete registration is required for each new order. The objection must be sent to the address in Chapter 1 of this data protection declaration.

All data that we do not have due to legal regulations, e.g. B. have to keep in accounting, we delete as soon as the order is completed.

You have the option of deleting your customer account at any time as soon as no more orders are open.

7. Social Plugins

All integrated social plugins work via the 2-click process; this means that the recording of your surfing behavior by a plug-in only starts when you activate the corresponding plug-in by clicking on it in the first place. If you are also logged in to your account on a social media platform when you visit our website, for example, the visit to the site can be assigned to your user account after activating the plugin (first click).
III. data security

Within the website visit, we use the widespread SSL procedure in connection with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed representation of the key or lock symbol in the address bar of your browser.

In addition, we use other suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

IV. Your rights (rights of data subjects)

You have the right to request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you can obtain information about the processing purposes, the categories of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data was or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to correction, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, data transfer, the origin of your data, if they were not collected from us, and about the existence of automated decision-making including profiling.

You also have the right to revoke any consent you may have given to the use of your personal data at any time.

If you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data by us contradicts the applicable data protection regulations, you have the option of complaining to the data protection authority of the Swiss Confederation.
